After missing a friend’s small birthday dinner recently (I was doing nothing at all) I realized that I needed to buy a calendar. The choices at Rite Aid were somewhat limited:
- Motorcycles
- Coca Cola
- Miley Cyrus
- Wolves
- Landscapes
The hard part was that most of these things felt like advertisements to me. C’mon wolves — stop promoting yourselves all the time.
So I went with the landscapes. They’re actually very nice, but the downside is that every image also has an inspirational saying on it. Luckily Ben has taken it on himself to modify the phrases each month. So… I get a vista and he gets an inspirational phrase to deface!
